How to overcome the negative influences at my very first job?

I work in a meat shop as sealer, earlier i loved very much this job but since my boss came to my market he just complaining about market has no work.and this it reduces a lot of my confidence and efficiency of my work and he affect me physical to and now i start hate this job. Older workers are afraid of him and now all that "negativity" are transfer to me. I have 24 years and this is my first job (9 month i work there) and by education Iam a food technologist engineer. Also to mention Pay is very low.
