Help with school dance clothes?

im in 8th grade and am going to my promotion dance i need clothes to wear that are nice and affordable. im not going to wear a tuxedo or khackis i want to wear my 511 levi jeans but what type of shirt or jacket to wear with it im going shopping this weekend so PLEASE help im a guy btw
