B&A: What do you do when some people think your work is crap and others think it's good?

I ask myself what I think of it and trust that. Then I go through the details of the criticisms that have been made to me. "ie that's full of unwarranted adverbs" or "that character doesn't sound right" and I fix what I agree needs to be fixed.
