New Employee Trainee Questions!?

I am a Lead baker on an Air Force Base in California, for the past 5 years I have been the only Baker(even though I have requested help at times)finally(without my input)they hired an istant baker who I have to train. Here is the problem, this person is a young Girl (19) with absolutely no baking experience and thats fine, however when explaining things to her she is very argumentive and wants to do things her way.(Air Force requires recipes to be done a specific way). Also she doesnt follow directions too well.I gave her a simple step by step recipe for 5 Pumpkin Pies last night and she destroyed them(forgot 2 ingredients).now as lead baker I get into trouble ,but I cant watch her every second.I finally got mad at her and told her to start listening better, the rest of the night she was unfriendly and distant to me and went over my head to ask a question(luckily my Supervisor told her to ask me ,not her)..Now today I am having a meeting with my main Boss to discuss her progress, how do I explain situation about her work without sounding like I am being too demanding.Any ideas from Supervisors would be appreciated
