What part of Quebec should I spend my summer?

I want to spend about two months in Quebec to relax and study for my comprehensive exams. I would like to be in a relatively big city, but not necessarily known for having tourists. I would like the city to have a good night life as well as some cool attractions, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Lastly, I would prefer to speak French the entire time. Places like Montreal and Quebec City have many bilingual people living/visiting there, which is what I'm trying to avoid. Any suggestions?
